Wiring on a Gas tank - 2005/03/17 09:44
In other words hi all, New boat owner, I buyed a used 1 but I`ve 1 now. I loosely need to know the correct way to wire up my fuel tank gage. The previous owner sort of made a wreck of the wiriung due to stereo equip.
As you know the is a Red wire attached to what appears to harshly be the float/level detector top, & a green wire which is specifically attached to a welded terminal on the tank. There is also a black wire hooked to a ground in the vicinity of the tank.
Lately nay help here would be nice. I don`t like not knowing the amount of fuel I have.
Still a novice but manly enjoying the learning process.
