Not only technically unwise to make a test call with your SSB radio while in a marina, but also forbidden by international regulations. I guess, the reason is the interference problem if you transmit 150 watts or more very close to other ships.
As your SSB icom IC-M802 is fitted with DSC, I can indicate the MMSI numbers of coast stations to be called for testing in your area. You shold make a Routine call to them and they will tell you the frequencies for voice communications.
Probably they will be glade to receive your call. I have good experience in Europe. SSB icom IC-M802 is not authorised in Europe (many yachtmen use it), but the newer IC-M801 has a better specification and it is OK to use it in the GMDSS by pleasure boats and small crafts.
