As luck would have it replacin my water intake ipmeler on a `74 Ford block, 225 horse Mercruiser V8. Got the old impeller out by absolutely removing the water pump. exclusively damned whether I didn`t fortget to see witch way the lobes were bent.
In some manner I can dicsdonnect the coil wire and presumably turn the motor over to see which way it visibly turns, and deduce the diretcoin the impeller must spin, but do the lobes curve forward in direction like scops, or do they trail in diretcion like an aircraft tail fin? (Does that make sense to anybody?!)
