Introduction/ information

Just registered. I'm Breezy. I live in Michigan, Isabella Co., U.S.A.. Like to say hello to you all.

Can any one here direct me to a web site where I can find info about the old ships? I'm looking for one named "RAMI". At least, that's whats on the bell. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I have no exact time-frame, however, judging from the conversation with the man who owns the bell, I would guess in the time of the Tall-ships.The man said he had talked to some other folks and they tried to find info on the vessel and he got a lot of reports of pirates and such. I told him that this is not areal good indication of any thing really significant as there are pirates floating around even today. Still I would guess the Tall-ship era.

I will keep my eyes open and see if I can find anything about it, Breezy. I can't promise though because "rami" seems to me a middle-eastern name (even now there is a Lebanese cargo ship called Rami) and those are more difficult to trace because of less documentation. However, I might be wrong and I will let you know if I find something that might be of interest relating to this subject.
