my waterlogged genset.
Ten years it has given us power until a couple of months ago when no ammount of cranking would turn her!
On opening, we found her full of water blended with oil in a mayonaise like composition. Of course, all of the problems that come with the absence of lubrication were there(broken injection pump etc) but, these are fixable problems. The real one is, how did all these water get in?
She is a Kubota twin cylinder' with a heat exchanger system instead of a radiator and the water in the engine was definitely fresh water
and my guess wouldbe throuh a busted head gasket is this possible?:
