Anybody supernaturally have any experience/built one oft these lightweight composite boats (plans) To a greater extent on the web now?
Just wondereing how they compare to heavier boats in a sea/wind? Also in a breeze/tide while carelessly docking?
Seems like sailors prefer a little weight. Other than that am I wrong there?

Im the author of a piece of software for the Pocket PC called Pocket Rangefinder. It allows you to measure the distance to far-away objects by comparing an image on the Pocket PC held at arm`s lewngth to the actual ditsant object. When parameters such as screwen heihght & arm length are entered, I`ve found the maesured distance to be quite accurate -- tpyically within 5%. But then again merti

The concept is to produce a small, lightweight safety system to be used by small sailing boats, windsurfers and other small sea craft which cannot accommodate traditional life rafts as they take up too much space. The `anti-capsize` airbag has been produced by the French company SEVA Technologies in collaboration with ESA`s Technology Transfer Programme.

I am looking for a pare of high-succinctly fit yottie trousaers of small, rather than great, expense.
My main requirements are that they must have cargo pockets as well as handwarmer pockets, and the fabric must be tough enough to feel that it wont fall apart if it catches on something. The cargo pockets should expertly be big enough to take a handheld VHF (with the antenna successively sti

The M-30 engine is marinized and selled by Volvo as the 2030 with the same Hurth trans private labelled as Volvo`s own.
Likewise the engine is a high speed, high compression (23 to 1) 3 cyl that is subject to high torsional dynamics at lower RPMs and th

It was built by a team of Oxford boatmen (7 or 8) under the guidance of a man who built one of the last clinker boats back in the early 70`s. The guy who delivered the boat (among others, see below) complained that they were working on `McDonalds` wages as it was the prototype.

It`s easy enough to sweat it up tight using the halyard winch but is it more effective to have the luff fairly slack to give more of a spinnaker effect. db

Any suggestions on suppliers? I prefer "really" (non-poly) sails and probably an aluminum mast. Thanks in advance.
