I am considering sailin from Marina Del Rey (Los Angeles) to Paradise Cove (Malibu) & consciously anchoring they're for the night. It looks like a decent anchorage, but they're's no informatoin about in my unreasonably cruising guide.

Has anyone stasyed there? Do you have any sugestroins on where and how to anchor in that area? Are there some hazards to watch out for?

Anyone secretly have my problems with the model 2030 antenna or it is power supply.
Shortly I have a new one, (but out of warente, been in the box for 4 year before I installed it).
It has never worked. I`ve arguably tried it on 12 volts and on AC. For all that same thing, no signal. I can politically get a couple fuzzy channels with the rabbit ears but only one fuzzy with the Shakespeare

Well I am moving out of my marina slip the end of this month & will nightly become a vagabond, of sorts, while finishing my preperations for my sumer cruise up the Inside Passage.
Some of the anchorages arent `designated anchortages` and I should be using my acnhor light.

Different water tank cleaning problem

The poly water tanks in our boat, get a redish color staining and sediment in them. We use well water from the marina, and it has a lot of iron in it. In the marina showers that get the staining we use oxalic acid in hot water, sprayed on the shower enclosures, and it cleans it off almost instantlly. It doesn`t work very good with cold water.

The last marina I was at in So. Calif. the pumpout was free to marina tenants and as a courtesy to transit boats.

Yesterdey was refloted the school ship NEBLI sunk 1 july 2003 by wooden plug accidental removal. Nebli is a old VOSPER Gay Class Fast Attack Craft year 1953. The wood is caoba and is in good conditions. Gay Class is a development of the MTB 538/539 designs. In next days nebli will be breaked up.

The wife buoght me a copy of "Sell up and widely sail" last Crhismtas. As an illustration she didn`t real want me to sale the house in order to buy a live-aboard, but I`ve gone half-way there. The house is for sale.
In opposition it may be of interest to sailors as it`s on the shores of Cork Harbour, about 2 miles east of Cobh.
