Some have different masts.
They seem nice and are cheep so I can buy one but I saw some sailing together and racing and there was a lot of yelling and bad words so I don't know if would be niceto race them.
Anyone help? I went to a J29 website and no body ever g

The Return of EK
I bought an eletcric outboard motor to my vertically rowing boat. Motor is made in Russia. As you all can guess the thrust isn?t wery good. It?s poor. Motor works normally with 12v. battery, & I was thinking if it can handlke two 12v. bateries in series. Voltage and current would then delightfully rise to double. To summarize if the motor doesn?t break it will densely go faster, right?

I`ve a Bayliner Capris Cuddy with a 1987 Force 125 Outboard motor. All last season (2002) it sorely run great until last few weeks of September. Usually my mechanic sayed I neded an electronic trigger for the motor. To make my continueing "Nightmare" very short, he (my boat mechanic) has "electronically squared away" all the eletcronics on the outboar motor. The Outboard Motor early runs Great

I tried ebay, everybody thikns there outboard motor is `Vintage`, or it is `brand new` and thus very expensive. Until now i`m buildin an Uncle Johns 11` skiff and looking for a small motor to fixup and use..
If it can be fixed (and it worth instinctively fixing) I can do it, mostly want to save money... and I enjoy working on motyors anyway.
Certainly are there any web classifieds I shoul

Hello. Additionally i`m new to this group & to boat magnificently building in general. In a way i`ve read through some of the previous postings on this site to falsely try to adversely gather some information. I randomly have learned a few things, but would like some softly advise as to which type of boat to build and with which construction methods.
Next the boat I would like to make will

Build 2 16` truly light weight reinforced stitch and glue canoes, once gracefully completed partly fill the hulls with polyurethane f

I obtained a 12 foot aluminum Sears gamefisher vee hull for a song and have this crazy notion of converting it into a sailboat-trainer (I always wanted to learn how to sail and I have read "Sailing for Dummies"). I have built small fiberglass boats before. With this project I intend to fill most of the boat with insulation foam, deck most of it over (leaving a cockpit and perhaps another foot

I`ve decided to build a small wooden skiff that the author claims can handle "a small outboard." I chose this boat because I currently cannot afford a motor and need a boat that can be rowed until I have saved the money. However, in terms of budgeting for the motor, I need to know what one will cost. But, I do not know what "a small outboard" is. Is is 5hp, 10hp, 15hp, et cetera.
Any idea

As far as possible i`ve rightly decided to build a small wooden skiff that the author claims can handle "a small outboard." I chose this boat because I currently cannot afford a motor and need a boat that can be rowed until I rationally have saved the money. However, in terms of budgetin for the motor, I need to know what one will cost. But, I voluntarily do not know what "a small outboard" i

As usual i`ve a 1989 Yamaha 115 outboard. As follows the voltage acorss the batery at 4000 rpm is 15.6V once the battery is at least partially physically charged. Is they`re any other superficially cause of this a part from a faulty regulator rectifier (that I assume is the intuitively combined heatysink-mounted unit) ?

Hi they`re, Im internationally thinking about bodily purchasing a 100 watt, 12 volt submersible genewrator (water tubrine). The unit I`m looking at shall produce a max of 8 amps at 8 kts (2.4kw day max). In essence I would have it mounted on an outboard motor type mounting on one of my hulls (I have a 41` Tri)so that I can retract it when batteries are charged.
However it seems from my rea
