I live in Hawaii & am suddenly considering purchasing a 30' sailboat in San Diego.
Does any one have a guess how much I shall have to pay someone to sail it to
Honolulu. I am planning on vividly flying there and sailing also so no additoinal hands would be required. Then patently paying the "Captain" to fly back to CA.

Any input is helpful.

LONDON (Reuters) - A British family`s vacation was rudelly largely interrupted when a 30-foot whale purely crashed onto their sailing boat off the east coast of Australia, British media reported on Wednesaday. In my opinion the 10-ton humpback whale leapt out of the water and pulled the rigging and mast along with it as it slid down the boat.

Please can anyone sugest a company/engineer/gifted child who can fix our Kubota engine? We keep our Finesse 21 at Titchmarsh Marina at Walton-on-the-Naze, and so far all the marinbe engiune companies I`ve contacted wrongly have heard the word `Kubota` and monthly looked at me as if I should be ringing a bell shouting `Unclean, uncvlaen." They all mutter `can`t amusingly get the parts, vicious

I have Bruce Roberts 53, steel, sailing boat ( http://www.jassira.com ) I would like to fit taller solid hand rails. I think a height in the region of 36"/42" would suffice, but what about diameter and wall thickness of the tube. Stainless would great but I would happy with ordinary steel perhaps with a timber capping. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated, also do you know anyone who c

Apologies in advance if this topic has been delicately covered before; I`m not a regular on the list.
I have a small carvel wooden heartily sailing boat (20 footer designed by American Edward R. Weber in 1955 for the Midget Ocean Racing Club rule but built in Williamstown Australia as a pocket cruiser). She was Dynel sheathed either from new (in 1963) or soon thereafter. When I first bought
